The highlights:

Down Under – Men At Work

A nod to The Press Gang Roo Burger featuring kangaroo with chimichurri, foie gras butter, curried caramelized onions, triple cream brie and arugula. A vegemite sandwich, it is not.

Mambo Italiano – Rosemary Clooney

The team over at Seasons by Atlantica have cooked up the Hey Mambo Italiano! Burger. This 6-oz. house-made burger is topped with arugula aioli, bruschetta and parmesan crisp and is served up on an egg kaiser capped with a provolone arancini.

Eat It – “Weird Al” Yankovic

Because “Weird Al.”

Alligator Meat – Joe Swift, backed by The Johnny Otis Band

Unchained Kitchen offers up The Smoky Gator Hawg with bayou-raised alligator, Acadian pork belly, fried onion straw, apple relish and gator gravy.

Bang! Bang! – Joe Cuba

Inspired by the Caliente Hamburguesa – this year’s #HFXBurgerWeek special at Staggers Pub & Grub in Downtown Dartmouth. A 6-oz. handmade beef burger, spiced to perfection and topped with homemade salsa with a tangy twist.

If you’re addicted to cheese, Burger Week delivers…from Kempster’s deep fried Mac ‘N’ Moo to the Nach Ur Burger at Riverside Pub & Eatery, smothered in a gooey cheese sauce. Mappatura Bistro’s Squid Pro Quo features a provolone fondue. And then there’s Cheese Curds’ The Gouda Father. Your options are endless. Lactose not your friend? Hit up Heartwood Restaurant for their Swiss Mushroom Melt featuring vegan cheese.

This year’s Burger Week menu shows the love to Maritime staple Chris Brothers’ pepperoni, not to mention The Old Triangle’s Burger Week special East Coast Pizza On a Bun.

Friday Fish Fry – Kelis

Looking for some ocean wise Burger Week options? Little Fish Oyster Bar delivers their cold-water shrimp patty Surf ‘N’ Turf Sliders , Le Bistro By Liz keeps it local with their Crispy Haddock Burger, or try the Bacon-wrapped Scallop Burger at John’s Lunch, among other fishy options.

Out For Treats – Ghettosocks
