Halifax Burger Week is a restaurant promotion presented by The Coast, Halifax's weekly alternative newspaper. During March 20 through to March 26 Haligonians can participate by picking up a Burger Week passport at participating locations and start eating around the city. There are 51 participants, offering a specially created burger for $5 or a burger at a price over $5 but with proceeds going towards Feed Nova Scotia. It's the week where eaters have a cow, literally.* No joke, here are some things people are saying already on The Coast's social media network:Best Week of my life!!!!!! When you purchase a Feed Nova Scotia burger during the week, a portion of the paid price will be donated by the restaurant to Feed Nova Scotia.
